Nurturing a Love for Flowers into a Floral Business Journey
How I became a successful floral designer at the age of 16

My love for flowers started when I got a job at a flower shop. It all began when my first job closed down, and I was figuring out what to do next. A coworker suggested working at a flower shop, something I hadn't considered before. I gave it a shot and got the job.
The work was tougher than I expected, but two people at the shop really supported me. One was a designer, and I admired her a lot. She taught me how to make things like corsages and boutonnieres. That's when I discovered my passion for flowers. The other person was my manager. She saw how much I loved it and taught me about different flowers and plants. I learned a lot from both of them, and they inspired me.
Despite having great support, I faced challenges because of my talkative and friendly nature. Some coworkers didn't like it and treated me differently. They told me to be quiet and were sometimes rude because I was younger. It made me feel bad, and I wasn't progressing as fast as I wanted. That's when I decided to start my own floral business.
I began on Instagram, selling mostly corsages and boutonnieres. As I realized I was good at making everyday arrangements and bouquets, I got more serious about my business. With my family's help, I built a website and worked hard to market my business to people around me. I put a lot of time and effort into making beautiful arrangements. I hope you consider choosing me for your next order!
